Yes! We have a 6ft wooden privacy fence, that encloses a 0.5-acre yard. Furthermore, we have an airlock at the gate entrance to prevent any and all escapees. Enjoy your peace of mind knowing your dog is safe at WDD.
Unfortunately, we have discontinued our dog walking services. Due to our high volume of clients, we only conduct in home daycare services. However, the dogs at WDD get plenty of exercise running around in the 0.5-acre backyard!
WDD strictly prohibits crating for any reason. We utilize separation tactics in separate rooms before we resort to crating. We do have a XL crate for if there is an emergency and there is an untrained, aggressive dog that is a danger to themselves, other dogs, or the staff members. In WDD's over 100 clients, we have only had to resort to crating one time.
We have set up our house to have many baby gates up for the separation of pups during feeding times. Because they're baby gates, we consistently have eyes on all the pups and they do not feel isolated, which lowers the risk of food anxiety and food aggression.

Yes! All dogs at WDD are treated like our own. They can sleep and lounge wherever they choose. Whether that be the wide selection of dog beds, the sectional sofa, or one of the human beds. Typically dogs hang out in the living room on the sectional sofa where they watch Dog TV.
Dog TV is a specialized tv program for dogs. It contains videos of birds, squirrels, beaches, walks, cars, and more. Furthermore, it will look distorted to you, as the screen has been optimized for canine vision. To learn more about Dog TV, visit our Articles page.

On 01/13/2023, WDD stood before a NYS Supreme Court Judge petitioning to extend our deadline to file an Article 78 Proceeding and to extend the Order of Remedy put in place by the Village of Dryden.
The Judge ruled to allow for the Article 78 Proceeding to be extended (yay!) but also ruled to not extend the Order to Remedy (boo!) effectively ceasing operations of WDD at 1 Tannery Circle.
However, we are not entirely closed! We have converted to conducting home visits in lieu of daycare!
